Description:
Utilitarian opium lamp fashioned from clear pressed glass with faceted and fluted surfaces that refract the lamplight. The conical chimney, integrated with the base, encloses the burner assembly to protect the flame from drafts. A small metal burner cap, now aged with patina, once held the wick in place for precise heating of the opium pipe’s bowl.
